Description
The cutthroat competion amongst morticians in Nuln forced  Zarles Kreiger to a creative approach to raise the profit margins- He decided to "lend" fresh corpses and troublesome, unholy beasts captured to a backwater Blood Bowl league far away from Nuln. Draw We faced Wooden Halftree last night. Halflings are not considered to be the best among the Blood Bowl teams, but Wooden Halftree had 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss before they met us, and was the 2nd most sucessfull alpha-team in the entire conference. We therefore was a bit nervous for the game, and Capshaw definately got the most out of the 15 players on his team.
To sum things up; we avoided complete disaster, Dr. Arne Frank and Duraf Cascarellian sorely needed block and no serious injuries on our behalf. |

Doom or Gloom We have to beat The Journeymen to go to the Semi Finals now, after our second loss against Duftham Skulltakers. |

Badly beaten We lost 0-3 last night against Duftham Skulltakers. The casualty war was lost 1-8, but luckily for us only Alex Blayne died in a fatal way.
The next match will be against The Journeymen. We think the numbers will be the same, but shuffled a bit around: The Journeymen will win 8-1, but they will cause only 3 casualties. The blodging AG4 elves, on the other hand, will be pretty secure from a team without tacklers at all.
But well over a million in inducements CAN make a difference... |

First Blood Soon we will face our first opponent; The Mighty Duftham Skulltakers, in our first game ever. We think the match will be tough, facing one of the worst killers in the league; Khorne Colossus and many other Beasts of Chaos.
However 1.220.000 gc in inducements, 25% MORE than our entire team value can even out the odds quite a bit...
One of our tactics will be to hire countless mercenaries, but we are still able to afford almost all the other inducements as well... |
