Before the match started there was a blizzard, to the dispair of  Vetle Werfer and the legendary Alatuah Battlepotion . Luckily the weather changed when the match started; to very sunny. Elve Elegante had a bad winning streak, and invested some of the team trasury in a Bloodweiser Babe. The Rats wins the coin toss, and choose to receive.
They make a standard approach; they punch a hole in the line, and Willy Vånd and Manfred von Rinnstein gets through. One the backfield Vetle Werfer attempts to pick up the ball, but fails twice. Sprintbird George has to GFI twice to get hold of the ball, and succeeds. Ishmael Isjias blitzes him to win back the ball, but double skulls. A RR changes the result, and Sprintbird George gets down and looses the ball. Willy Vånd attempts a 2 dice block, but also double skulls, and the team has used their RR this turn. Sprintbird George once again picks up the ball, makes a quick pass to Asbadd Branchgleam, and Elve Elegante leads the game 1-0. Now the weather changes to normal, Willy Vånd, and Manfred von Rinnstein enters through a hole in the line, and Der Rattenführer dodges through at the other flank as a plan B. In turn 4 Vetle Werfer makes a long pass to Willy Vånd who in turn runs and makes a hand off to Der Rattenführer. Der Rattenführer is only loosely marked, and with a 2+ dodge he makes the first goal for the rats. 1-1. In turn 5 Elve Elegante makes a long pass to a catcher who intends to make a hand over to Fluffy Papaya. He only needs a GFI, but stumbles. Willy Vånd gets the ball, but is heavely attacked the following turn. He withstands a 3 dice block with RR, but is marked by 7 (!!!) elves. With nerves of steel Willy Vånd makes a short pass to Rattus Norvegicus, who runs away with the ball. The following turn several of the elves block Willy Vånd, before Asbadd Branchgleam makes him badly hurt, and out for the game. Rattus Norvegicus is marked by Fluffy Papaya. The elf is blitzed, but he doesn´t fall, so he has to dodge away instead; 2-1 to the rats in turn 7. Two turns is just enough time for the elves to equal the score, ending first half 2-2.
In the 2nd half the Rats kick deep. The elves resolve the problem with a short pass from Ihlaon Throwmaster to Fluffy Papaya. Rudiger Rattus blitzes Fluffy Papaya, but has to GFI, and rolls "1" twice. In turn 2 it´s easy for Elve Elegante; Fluffy Papaya blitzes Jorge Jordrotte, has to make a 3+ dodge, but only rolls "2", rolls again and rolls "3", and a final 2+ dodge, leading to a T.D. 3-2 to Elve Elegante. In Ratten Kameraten´s 2nd turn Jorge Jordrotte and Manfred von Rinnstein enter deep into the other half. Vetle Werfer once again fumbles to pick up the ball. Now three eleven catchers pressures the skaven throwers. Vetle Werfer makes a desperate short pass to Der Rattenführer who makes a hand off to Der Rattenführer. He makes a 2+ dodge and scores. 3-3. In turn 4 Rattus Norvegicus lurks in the skaven backfield. Fluffy Papaya enters anyhow with the ball. The following turn he is 3 dice blocked by Rattus Norvegicus and gets so beaten up that he will miss the elves next match too. The ball is now free and Rattus Norvegicus has to GFI to secure it, but falls over. Targipl Ironseer fouls Ishmael Isjias. The rat is badly hurt, but Targipl Ironseer is expelled and the rats has another chance to score. The ball scatters around a bit, before Alatuah Battlepotion attempts a long pass to Tellill Grandjewel waiting in the end zone. The pass is inaccurate becouse of Der Rattenführer. The rats now has their chance and crowd surfs Tellill Grandjewel. What happens next is that Konrad Coccyx double skulls, and the elves have another opportunity. In turn 7 Skyhair Holyeye makes a 3+ dodge, GFI and manage a 4+ pick up of the ball in the end zone. 4-3 to the elves. The rats have 2 turns to equal the score. They now play "all in" and swarms the elven side of the pitch. Vetle Werfer fumbles to pick up the ball for the third time this match. In turn 8 a TD is still possible; Vetle Werfer makes a long pass to Rudiger Rattus, but he has to GFI twice. On the first GFI he trips over, and the elves won 4-3. |
