 # Skills & Traits
Fan Favouritethis rule overrides the Official Rules
Players with the skill Fan Favourite counts as an extra cheer leader for their team while they are on the field. Their presence will surely boost their fans' spirit and please Nuffle.

This rule is a modification of the Fan Favourite skill found in the Competition Rules Pack, as there is no Fan Favourite skill in the BB2020 rules.

You find Fan Favourites in both AnBBL and Oslo BBL.

 # Special Trophy Rules

 Match flow
MVP nominationthis rule overrides the Official Rules
Players who never sat foot in the dugout or on the pitch are not eligible - ie. players who must miss the match due to injury.

Each coach must choose one of the three MVP nomination procedures below:
You should choose the Coach Favourite!

The others procedures are just more nostalgic, narratively correct or (somewhat) realistic.

1#Let the MVP committee decide (Coach Favourite)
Coaches nominate three of their players that are eligible for the MVP, and then the opposing coach roll a D3 to randomly determine the MVP of the match.

This is the normal MVP nomination procedure in the AnBBL and the Oslo BBL s04.

2#Or do it randomly as in the BB2020 book p.70 (Random, but Alive)
Roll a D16 or D20 comparing result with draft list number. Only players from your team (not mercs and stars) that are still alive are eligble.

3#Or let the fans decide what player impressed them the most (Fans Vote)
If you choose to let the fans randomly decide your MVP, you are free to do so. Mercenaries, Journeymen, Star Players and players who died in the match are eligible when rolling for MVP in this way, as the fans might like one of those players best. Give any temporarily hired players an available number on the draft list. The opposing coach then rolls a D16 or D20 to randomly select your MVP.

  Recording non spp Casualties
For statistic purposes Oslo BBL and AnBBL keep track of all casualties inflicted in a match, not only casualties from SPP-valid blocks.

These will all count towards the total casualty scores of the match, but for not for bonus league point purposes.

Casualties caused by fans, random events and fouls.

The fans/random event option should be used to record casualties like those inflicted by a wizard, from a failed dodge/GFI, from animal savagery against your own, from trolls eating your goblins or snotlings, from using a secret weapon like chainsaw instead of a block, from stabbing with stakes, or from crowd inflicted casualties.

Random events should be registered to the opponent team of the player suffering the injury, i.e. if you fail a dodge and your player dies, a fans/random event should be recorded as a kill for your opponent.

The foul - playername option should be used to record casualties caused from normal fouls, fouls using the chainsaw as part of a foul action and other similar dirty tricks.

 Play-off Season
Penalty Shootoutthis rule overrides the Official Rules
If a match is not decided after Extra Time a Sudden Death is required. You can do this as a Sudden Death by penalty roll-off, as described in the BB2020 rules book p.67, or if both coaches agree you can do it as a Field Goal Penalty Shootout competition.

FIELD GOAL PENALTY SHOOTOUT EXPLAINED:
These rules may be subject to evaluation and tweaks before any important championship play-off match, at the commissioners discretion.

Each coach select 1 player to lead their kicking team.
Each coach randomly select 4 other players from their reserves box to attend their kicking team.
Each coach secretly decide in witch order their 5 kicking players will attempt to score a field goal.
The 5 players each kick one Field Goal attempt in the set order.
Complete all 5 original Field Goal attempts, for spp purposes, even if a winner is settled early.
Repeat the kicking order with 1 and 1 player until a winner is decided, if not settled with the first 5 field goal attempts.
The team with most successfull Field Goals is the winner.

The Field Goal Kick:
1. Test to see if the kick is long enough: 6+ on D6+ST.
2. Test to see if the kick is between the bars: PA test (If PA is -, and only then, do an AG test)

Skill bonuses: Kick gives +1 on both tests.

"The kick is good!": If both the kick is long enough (1) and the aim is good enough (2), then it is a successful Field Goal!

The kicking player gets 1spp recorded as a completion (as default, works for most players), Throw Team-Mate completion (for big guys) or as a Deflection (for players that can not normally pass or throw team-mates).

Recording the winner:
The team winning the penalty shootout will get an extra TD awarded (record this as if scored by a mercenary/star). This is mainly for calculation purposes for the website (you need more TDs than the opposition to be recognized as the winner).

Field Goal Penalty Shootouts are most commonly used in the Oslo BBL 3rd place match.

 Tournament MVPs
Oslo MVP-Dthis rule overrides the Official Rules
Statute up for vote in the Oslo BBL Commish Council:

The Oslo MVP Defence goes to the player(s) with the highest combined SPP´s earned by Casualities, deflections and Interceptions.

Effect:
1. Earning the Oslo MVP means the player(s) receives the skill "Fan Favourite".
2. Constant boosting of the honestly earned Oslo MVP barely make anyone raise their eyebrows, still an anonymous bounty of 25.000gp is some how raised and put on the the player(s) recieving this backwater MVP award.

This award is awarded in Oslo BBL. All players within the season or tournament is eligble, dead or alive.

No extra SPP's are awarded for this MVP.

Oslo MVP-Othis rule overrides the Official Rules

The Oslo MVP Offence goes to the player(s) with the highest number of SPP´s earned by TDs and Completions together.

Effect:
1. Earning the Oslo MVP means the player(s) receives the skill "Fan Favourite".
2. Constant boosting of the honestly earned Oslo MVP barely make anyone raise their eyebrows, still an anonymous bounty of 25.000gp is some how raised and put on the player(s) recieving this backwater MVP award.

This award is awarded in Oslo BBL. All players within the season or tournament is eligble, dead or alive.

No extra SPP's are awarded for this MVP.

Tournament MVPsthis rule overrides the Official Rules
All Most Valued Player (MVP) awards are awarded at the season or tournament award ceremony, before the season or tournament is reset for a new season or tournament.

For example after the AnBBL Champions' Final has been played for AnBBL Elite Seasons, when the AnBBL Semi Pro seasons re-set around new-years and at the end of Oslo BBL seasons.

 Tournament Structure
Bountiesthis rule overrides the Official Rules

When a season or tournament is running a team participating in that season or tournament may put some of its money on any player participating in the season or tournament as a bounty.

After each played match a team can put up to 200k on bounties - no more. To avoid loads of small insignificant bounties, the minimum bounty on a player is set at 20 kgp. You can buy bounties on already bountied players in increments of 10 kgp.

If a player with a bounty on his head dies (and is not healed/regenerated), the opposing team gets the reward. If the player retires, the bounty money is lost forever in the stockpile of the greedy league commission, hehe.

Both AnBBL and Oslo BBL s4 allow coaches to spend their team treasury to buy bounties this way.
