With a thirsty for revenge coach of Slick Defenders, Nozdormu, and a ready to crunch attitude by Slaves of Succubus's  Capshaw. This match was climaxed to be a great spectacle.....
With the coinflip, a local shaman, not hired by Capshaw it was said, twisted the flow of the wind to an advantage for Slaves of Succubus.
Capshaw, as allways, selected to recieve the ball. Going for the tactic that it is allways best with the first block. Even though this time no Norse was hurt.
Slick Defenders first action was to frenzy block a badly placed Tomb guardian of the field. Next Pels blitzed another guardian, almost sending him crushing to the grave. Luckily the self regenerative abilities of the long lost Kings of old saved him.
With two Guardians low, Slaves of Succubus could'nt give the Norse any fight and lost the ball for Angantýr Arngrímsson to pick up and score.

With the possibility to go 2-0 up a rookie mistake from Nozdormu gave Capshaw a chance to blitz the ballcarrier. Block, dodge, sidestep and fend could not keep him from falling, loosing the ball and dropping it in a decent position for Capshaw to pick it up.
And so it was tied at the whizzle. And with 4 rerolls and a leader on the pitch for Slaves of Succubus vs. none for Slick Defenders, Capshaw was confident about the victory to come..
Or was he... Slick Defenders had used all they're "second chance" rolls before t6 in second half. But went on to the overtime with no failed actions through all but second last turn. That failed and Moshe seized the initativ and scored in turn 3 second overtime half. GLORIOUS. |
