By scoring one TD, Nargle  early on gave Lords of the Pit the edge of the game. But with two returns from turn 7, Kadrin Kazad Nutcrackers had a chance to even the score, yes to win even. But the undead team gave the cage to much resistance, so B'kage Backbreaker and his cage was stopped around the LOS.
In turn 8, 2.nd half, Ikassa Ironfist Mbaln could give Ør'n Ør'n Wroom the last TD as he were only one short pass away(after to D6=5 GoForIt-rolls). When doing the pass at 4+, of course nuffle struck, and the dice turned up as a 1 - FUMBLE!
Lords of the Pit could relax after the exciting last turn, and enjoyed their last turn by kicking some ass.  Stan Ding - "I only regret nobody died by my mighty blows"
Kadrin Kazad Nutcrackers has added Lords of the Pit to their Book of Grudges, and use all their winnings on a bounty on Nargle for scoring the TD and Bargle for taking the Speed Boost Cap. Ok Okri, the engineer who made it, and Grig Bakromni ,the runesmith that engraved it, only promised the Speed Boost Cap as the trophy because they were certain Kadrin Kazad Nutcrackers would win.
By winning this match Lords of the Pit are the current champions of Speed Boost Cup, and takes the rune inscribed 'Speed Boost Cap'. The undead use their negotiation tactics (big dug out brawl) to decide wich player gets to use it. Bargle put it on his head and ran off with it, his speed boosted by 1.
Speed Boost Cap - If the player holding the Speed Boost Cap gets killed, the cap is destroyed forever, as the rune only alows for one player to ever use it. The cap gives it's holder a permanent +1 to the MA. |
