Nun Stop were the underdogs against Elve Elegante, so the nuns hired Mighty Zug and a Bloodweiser hunk to even out the odds. They even won the coin toss, and chose to receive.
With brute force the nuns punch several holes in the elven line, and enters with several players. In turn 2  Mother "Hail" Mary dodges away with the ball and makes a quick pass to Juliette , who in turn hand offs to St. Rippeline. 1-0 to the nuns. The elves don´t need to punch holes; with AG5 Asbadd Branchgleam only needs 2 2+ dodges to slip past the nuns. However he rolls snake eyes. In turn 3 they are ready to pass. Amazingly Fortitude intercepts the ball. Alatuah Battlepotion  , with his AG5 fails his safe throw roll. In turn 4 Fortitude scores with ease and Madame de Lorsagne kills Blitzing Mango. 2-0 to the nuns, thanks to insane luck more than anything else. The elves reduces to 1-2, but in the final turn in first half St. Rippeline makes a 1/2 dice block against Alatuah Battlepotion, pushes him back and scores, ending the first half 3-1 in favor of the nuns.
The second half starts with a blizzard. The nuns experience bad luck for the first time in the match when "Twisted" Sister double skulls against the ball hog Fluffy Papaya. The loner-skill means that the RR spent is wasted. The elves retaliate, and in turn 2 Asbadd Branchgleam makes a T.D. reducing the score to 2-3. The weather changes back to normal, a huge advantage for the elves. They can throw a long bomb at 2+ under normal circumstanses, and suddenly the elves are back in the game. No more goals is scored, however. |
