In this first game ever for Koigen-Kameratene the fans were eager to see some lizard violence.
They got what they came for, but perhaps the other way around. The lizards were wearing their silken gloves today, throwing a lot of blocks, knocking down quite a few players, but nothing worse than a very temporary ko as a result.
Their ball game was a lot better. Apart from a cheeky steal by the circus freaks in the first half, the little skink runners kept staying on the ball. They might have won, was it not for a blitz by Mandrake the magnificent, who sacked a small fry that had run out of bounds of -everyone- else on the field. |
