Wychwetyl's Troupe won the cointoss and selected to receive in first half.
1st half:
The games first kick was stopped at the LOS by  Durthu, who miraculously caught the ball!
Compared to last time the teams met, the Purple Bluebirds's defence held on a bit longer, not allowing a TD before in turn 4. Balldur Fetcher then was wide open in turn6, he got the ball from Eightball McClansman and ran it into the endzone. 1-1.
Fredryck Bittersmuss struck a killing blow to Wychwetyl  who barely survived with the help of Wychwetyl's Troupe's apothecary.
2.nd half:
Whoklan Toothz was expelled early on in second half, for trying to break of a branch from Durthu.
Lathion could not be saved from a slow an agonizing death, as the apothecary was out of healing drugs.
When the whistle blew in turn 8, Fric Tion Glovert was only two squares away from the endzone, alone, holding the ball, too late to lower the loss wiht one TD. The final score was 4-2 to the woodelfs.
I think the MVP comitee was blinded by that kickoff interception made by Durthu, as he received the defensive MVP. Balldur Fetcher earned the offense MVP for his constant hard work, making himself open - though he seldom got the ball thrown his way. |
