Azgorh Ravens were underdogs, and received a total of 320.000 gp in inducements. The mon ey was invested in hiring Hack Enslash, 2 Bloodweiser Babes and an Igor. Grim Rapers chose to receive, and the weather was normal.
In the first turn Grim Rapers knocks down Azgorh Ravens´s Line of Scrimmage, and blitzes through to hurt Hack Enslash with  Proserpina, leaving him stunned. In turn 2 Guiseppe Mengil makes a short pass to Jeanne Dark, getting the ball forward. In the third turn Jeanne Dark makes a quick pass to Abu Nidala, and the score is 1-0 to Grim Rapers. Grim Rapers now has to kick, but a high kick leaves plenty of time for Richard to place himself directly under the ball and catching it. Azgorh Ravens plays aggressively, and Joseph Zimmermann seriousaly injures Antonio Gesualdi. This seems to anger the dark elves, for in the following turn Lorenzo Gherardi kills Abraham Chainbroke . The injury is so bad that neither Igor, nor his regenerative abilities are to any help. Further on in turn five Guiseppe Mengil makes a quick pass to Proserpina; 2-0 to Grim Rapers. In turn six Winston tries a short pass to Josef Steel, bur unmarked Jeanne Dark intercepts the ball. In turn seven Jeanne Dark therefore can make a short pass to Proserpina, who scores again; now the dark elves are leading 3-0.
The enthusiastic dark elves, and the angered hordes of undead sets the stadion on fire, and a quarter of the second half is lost before the teams are able to set up again. The first turn is turn three, and Richard makes a perfect short pass to Zlatan The Hungry, who fails to catch the ball. Grim Rapers´s response is to blitz Zlatan The Hungry with Lorenzo Gherardi, leaving him badly hurt. The ball is now clear, and Abu Nidala picks up the ball and attempts a long pass to Proserpina, but fails. In turn 4 Guiseppe Mengil takes over the throwing task, and throws to Proserpina, but Winston intercepts the ball. In turn six Winston instantly makes a short pass to Josef Steel. This time Azgorh Ravens have marked the elves, and the pass is successfull. Josef Steel easely jogs in for a touch down, reducing the loss to 1-3. This act seems to anger the audience even more, and a full turn is used to calm the spectators. With a single turn left Grim Rapers makes a completion, and dodges away from the undeads, securing both their health and their victory. |
