The vamps had an amazing opening with perfect defense, gazing three amazons, and giving them a bad headache trying to get the ball off the ground. No amount of dauntless blocks could get it back.
Sadly, on the next drive, the coach found number 7, Lovecraft to be too ugly for the field. Perhaps he should not have gone to the Nelly bar during a plague? And as such was sent off.
The vamps still managed another touchdown, but things went downhill from here.
The Amazon with the unsuspecting name of Just Line, killed the monstrosity known as Master Blackwood. Rumored to be Vakasha Netherblade's Butler for the last 100 years or so.
The shock sent the vampires into a disarray. And the amazons blitzed their way to the first of three touchdowns. Then blitzed themselves to another. It seemed like the vampires were on the return, during the last minutes of the match, but the ball carrier was zapped into a frog, and with two other vampires KO, and Vakasha berserking in the backfield, the amazons had little trouble getting the turn 7 score second half.
The vamps had one ace left in their sleeve. Allowing Lillith to Go the Extra Mile (card).
Thus it seemed to be another one turn touchdown in the last round of the match, but on the final GFI, the amazons hit them with the stake, so to say, playing Heel Turn, denying the use of a reroll. Ending the match 3-2 to the Brawlin' Bitches. |
