Beeing underdogs New Orc Giants hired starplayers Ripper and Varag, an apothecary and two bloodweiser babes. They also were granted some extra training time before the kickoff. They won the cointoss, and selected to receive. After the major loss in Wychwetyl's Troupe - Purple Bluebirds (Season IV, NC 3), only a few fans came to see the Purple Bluebirds fighting the up comers. On the other hand, almost no fans cheered the home team of this match, resulting in a +2 FAME to Purple Bluebirds.
First half:
Givremoman Storeklore scored the games first TD after an offensive strategy from the human defence. Omlam evened the score later on.
Second half:
 Jo 'Slippery' McGregor showed his teammates his not all slippery, and passed the ball to Ivan Shureglove . Ivan Shureglove kept the ball out of New Orc Giants' reach for 4 turns, scoring a TD in turn 7. This left New Orc Giants two turns for making the tie, something they almost did.
R.I.P:
No drugs were left to help the dying players Duur and Tarm Yetid Frapedro. They both fought well during the game, and will be remembered by their fancy ways of dying :) |
