First ever game at Gata Nordlund Cavern. Before the match, both teams had a chance to reache the Nelie's league playoffs. As expected when playing underground the weather was fine. While the game started in the worst possible way for the Overlords, with Kreek Rustgouger being knocked out the game, the underworld denizens of Gata made short order of the Renegades of Ankerskogen. When  Hrungne eventually decided to walk into the end zone, only 3 renegades remained on the field. Despite the questionable use of a Ball and chain, Kreek Rusgouger returned to continue the rampage in the second half. Ankerskogen was able to tie the game with Reka Pelle & Per Tore , but was outwitted in the following drive by a dodge, short pass play from Hod. In a last-ditch effort to save a draw, Morgan Torgersen crushed Reka Pelle & Per Tore while attempting to throw the gobbos towards the end zone.
With 1 game left for both, Underworld Overlords are now ready for the playoff. Ankerskogen Blodbaderklubb will not be able to qualify this season. |
