For an introduction match for a brand new elven team, this was a fairly bloodless affair. The orcs seemed to have their gloves on, as the Av7 didn't want to break. At least no further than the knockout booth, if hardly that.
Both teams had large difficulties keeping hold of the ball, and with slippery grass, gfi's failed everywhere, running both teams out of rerolls fast, in both halves. A fair amount of skulls and 1's hurt the elves more than the hardy greenskins, allowing the Stompers a slight victory. The passing play, who led to touchdown, awarded Zudur the MVP of the match. |
