Todays Thorsday match, was played on the Crimson Court homefield, where an experimental game mode was implemented due to the cold weather. All the players were skating around on sharp dagger-like implements, and blocks caused the victims, and the ball, to scatter wildly in random directions on the ice.
The vampires seemed to have practiced this type of sport in the past, as they had little trouble navigating the frozen field. There was just no stopping the Tide from sliding past the orkish defence, their team captain paid little heed to any tacklezones, and the supporting cast removed the few that might have made trouble.
This, combined with soft gloved greenskins, the most notable play was when the Emporium distracted the referee, while stomping on Vakasha, after a failed dodge. Luckily for the frenzied vampire, the boot did not go through for more than a stun. But it did secure the path for an uninterupted single touchdown. |
