Pouring rain made todays match a sodding sludge, up and down the field, as nobody really wanted to risk throwing the ball. The amazons were completely unfazed by the rain, though, not failing a single catch the entire game. Most like due to dwelling in the rainforests of Lustria.
It was merely extreme luck that saw Bouroughs chain-pushed into a one die blitz on the amazon's number five, where he managed to roll an easy POW. But this did not help, as the amazons picked the ball up right after, and handing it off for a touchdown only a turn later.
The vampires equalized turn 8, and was the receiving team second half. A boring elf defense saw to an even slower third drive. The Brawling B's still did have a good chance to turn this match into a draw, but no matter how much the coach were yelling for Frida to throw the ball, she promptly refused. Holding on to it with her safe pass. 4 ones in a row.
It should be added that the ref might have been biased, with over twice as many cvrimson colours in the stands. as he decided to look away from an obvious gang-foul by Igor, after a full on pitch invasion in the first half. |
